East Coast Auto Salvage Celebrates 25th Anniversary

August 17, 2010 | Taia | Comments 0

Ronald Reagan was president, Back to the Future was an international phenomenon, WrestleMania made it's debut at Madison Square Garden, Franco Modigliani won the Nobel Peace Prize in Economics and East Coast Auto Salvage Inc. was founded in Higganum, Connecticut, 1985 - it was a great year.

Now 25 years later here we are going stronger than ever. We're stocking over 600 salvaged late-model vehicles per year, adding hundreds of quality tested used parts to our inventory daily, utilizing all of the latest in parts locating technology and employing more talented and knowledgeable staff than ever,  all to bring our customers the best parts and service in the industry. We recognize that every single day is a chance to improve what we offer and take every experience as an opportunity to better our operation and our service.

Now being a second generation family run auto salvage we are looking to the future more than ever. We appreciate your business and value your opinions. If there is anything that we can do to improve please let us know. We look forward to many more years of service!

About the Author: Since 1985 Taia has been hanging around East Coast. Early responsibilities included building forts out of used auto parts, calculating expense reports on the accounting calculator and bossing around the staff with her tough attitude. Things haven’t changed much except there isn’t as much time to build forts and the expense reports have gotten a bit more complicated. Taia is proud to be a woman working in the automotive recycling industry as she finds it both fun and challenging and she feels good about the role that her business plays in the reuse and recycling of automotive parts and metals.
